Marie-Christine – Sales Manager Grand Est

 

Native alsatian, Marie-Christine undertakes accounting studies and obtains her company’s management and administrations degree in 1999. Very quickly, she realizes that this field is not made for her and decides to start her career, first as a temporary worker at Extand’s after-sales service and then as a recruitment officer at Adecco.
Her desire to learn and discover other horizons pushes her to resume her studies 2-years later.

She had the chance to travel a lot as a child and she has always been fascinated by the tourist guides she met, so she naturally took the tourism route.

After, she joins a tourism management master’s degree in Marseille and accumulate internships: at the ‘Pierre & Vacances’ reception, in ‘Vacances Bleues’ quality control and at the Colmar Tourist Office.

This trip of three years in the south of France revealed to Marie-Christine a real passion for hotel business industry and another one for her native region: Alsace, she does not now see herself living elsewhere!
In 2005, she decided to go back to her roots and integrate as a sales person the Strasbourg Hilton group.A year later, as she no longer agreed company’s policy, she decides to look for a new challenge.

In 2006, she joined Roi Soleil hotel team and took in charge the marketing of six 2-star hotels, including the Roi Soleil Amnéville-les-thermes hotel in construction on her arrival.

For 10 years, she took care of the marketing of this hotel chain in full development and participates in the launch of two 3-stars hotels “Prestige”, in Colmar, and Saint-Avold in Lorraine.
In 2017, the Roi Soleil hotels have been bought by the NEHÔ France group, which has its headquarters in Nice. Marie-Christine is actively involved in the team work on the new marketing and sales policy and the technological evolution of Roi Soleil hotels. Her market knowledge, her reactivity, and her professionalism are essential to the Neho group management, in the on-site deployment of the new strategy.

She is now a valuable pair, with Noémie Sherkhan, as external sales persons for East region.
Energetic, well organized and totally dedicated to her clients, Marie-Christine has found her way and appreciates above all the human contact and the proximity with the hotels.
Her hobbies? A great gourmet, she spends a lot of time baking, to the delight of her little boy. She is also passionate about guitar, an instrument she has been practicing for ten years
