It was in 1993 that the adventure began for Mr. Denis Kuentz, when he opened his first establishment in the town of Sausheim, 5 km from Mulhouse. The hotel offered 83 rooms and was ranked in the “2-star” category. Mr. KUENTZ, Alsatian by birth, former manufacturer of pasta, went into the hotel business even though he had never worked in it. Mr. Kuentz imagined and designed a concept with simple, rational construction that was easy to maintain. The hotels are built with cellular concrete bricks, 36.5 cm thick, which gives them excellent thermal and sound insulation properties. The buildings meet anti-earthquake norms and have the final appearance of any comfortable hotel. |
